Hi all. I purchased this PT Gold in 98 or 99. Can't remember. Can anyone here tell me if this was made in the US or overseas? Any and all info would be great..
TIA...

Wow thanks for the replys. I remember when I went to buy it I had to go thru a authorized dealer and it took like a month to get. Had to pick every item on it. Anyways i haven't played it in years and was wondering if i should take it to a pro to go over it and adjust anything. I live in sepa south of Philly near the delaware border. Can anyone recommend anyone to take it to.
TIA
Bring it to me and leave it here
But really, I don't know anyone in particular. So you're the one who actually ordered the guitar through a dealer with all the tiny details and everything? It is 100% built in the U.S. then without a doubt. They don't do any custom shop guitars overseas.
Whether or not you should take it to someone depends on what you plan on doing with it. If you're going to keep it just as a decoration or something, then there's no real need to get it set up. On the other hand, if you haven't touched it in years, the setup on it might already be good. Nothing will come out of Schecter's custom shop without being flawless.
So what are your plans for it?

Yes I am the one who ordered it. I originally purchased this thing because of Townshend and wanted a exact duplicate. When I ordered it I never realized that Pete's never had markers on the face of the frets... so that's one of the reasons I had to inquiry if this was made in the US or not....
To be honest IDK. I'm not a good guitarist by any-means but I had a old ibanez years ago and I thought that the action on it was better. It's been sitting in the case for a few years and just want to make sure there is no warping of the neck and that sort of stuff. I really love looking at this guitar. It's gorgeous in person...
p.s. I would like to start playing it again...

And I don't know. If it's just been sitting in a case, there might be some warping, but that depends on a lot of things (weather, humidity, tension on strings, etc).
You should be able to look straight down the neck and see if there's any curvature.
