As long as you either have it tighten or take one or two strings off at a time. I tried it with all strings and the trem snapped down due to the springs lol

I got the pin type my self. And I somethings wish I got the clamp one lol. But it's pretty cool cuz you dont have to drill a hole into the guitar or anything like that. there is another thing to make them dive only I believe...
