I totally agree with you!!!!! I was about to buy a Fender Strat and aGibson LP, then one of my friends told me about Schecter. He promised that I would not be disappointed. So I bought the Damien Elite-6 FR and the Hellraiser Solo-6. They exceeded my expectations!!!!!! So, FUCK FENDER AND GIBSON!!!!!!!!

But I do like my Fender amp.....just had to throw that out there!!!!!

I dont have anything against fender besides price. i have a MIM Jbass thats great, and my MIK tele(not squire) was a great guitar too. If you could mix the cleans of a DeVille with the Gain of my Valveking(i know there are ways), youd have the perfect mid level amp IMO.

Now Gibson...i have nothing good to say about Gibson.

Edit: I found one. my neighbor has like a $3000 Gibson Acoustic. That thing is a really great guitar. Just as good as Top end breedloves and Taylors. But for that kind of money, you should expect that.

i actually never liked fender or gibson when i started, i thought jackson was the way to go lol ive been playing for 4 years and ik enough about guitars to hold my own but im just learning more about amps in the last year now, cause i was wayyy clueless before. p.s. cleans on a vt are very warm, you just always have to keep the gain below 11 o clock.i keep my lows and high up and my mid at 12. and it sounds great, and if i want some crunch i go to 12:30 and use either the ac15 or ac30 setting. its really nice imo

Next time he is over here i will have to mess with it some more. I never have been able to make it sound like much more then a practice amp with a couple of effects. Does it have to be cranked?

there is a power knob on the back so just turn that down and then always keep the master volume at about 2 or 3. thats what i do. i makes the amp very versatile. then if oyu want nice metal tones move to the uk metal or something? then drop the mids to like 10 and away you go. it should all be the same i have a little older model but yea
