If it's off a Damien it should be a FR Special. It's not bad, a lot of people don't like them. I've compared it to the FR on my Syn Custom and there are some differences in material and smoothness of play but, I have no complaints what so ever about it.

At first I thought about swapping out my FR Special for FR 1000 but, there is need to. It hold its tuning well and I dive bomb the hell out of it! I think you'll be very happy with it if you decide to buy it. Let us know what you do!!!!!

I have one in my Jackson, and it seems to be doing just fine. I don't use it that much though. There's a lot of tension on it from springs and heavy strings, and that shit makes me nervous about snapping a string XD
I'm tempted to just block it off.

The only thing is that the fr special is 80 new and 50 used, I'd pay 40 for it but I think I'd rather go with the new one.

Look for a Schaller FR, it may be cheaper because it's labeled as a licensed FR, while the OFR is actually made in the Schaller factory

I'd look for a Gotoh Floyd, much smoother than the Special and none of that bar warble that goes on with so may of the versions of the Floyds.
