Reading up on some stuff, got some drawings together, trying to get a company to make me a precut fretboard cause I have a feeling I will fuck that up.
The rest I am making though, and may still get stuck making the fretboard ^^

Pre Cut or Pre made? Stew Mac has some precut I think. and also has a fret guide thing. LMII I think might have precut fretboards and I believe you can make a guitar out of Bugina

    Re: Pete's Guitar Build

Alright the 3 separate 2 piece (front and back) dried over night so I started putting them together this morning

Sanded them down a little to help them meet a little more flush

Also reglued and clamped this ^

Clamped em together. I made sure the back lines up perfect because the front will just be getting a veneer top,so that will be covered anyway.
I will probably let this one dry till later tonight when I get home, then glue the 3rd piece to this piece and have the body blank!!!!

This is awesome, but going to be a money pit!
I started adding up all the figures on stuff, it won't be too bad since I'm building it piece by piece and don't have to buy everything at once though.

I am trying to decide on the pickups right now.

    Invader/Invader

    or

    Sustainiac/Invader

    or

Gold Covered EMGs (hardware is all going to be gold too)

Gold Cover EMGS would be my choice for Poplar. I'd wait for the Passives for the next built that isnt poplar lol. and yeah man Bridges and tuner packs are each close to $100 bucks.

BTW I changed over to Maple, went to a mill and got enough for 2 bodies and 2 necks for $56 where I paid $45 for ONE polar blank GAAHH!

So I should be able to go passive
