    well im stayin passive, and i am more concerned about cleans and medium gains. so ill deff look into the jb/59 i have considered the pearly gates, ive used one in a strat and i LOVED it, absolutely LOVED the pearly gates, amazing cleans and perfect dirties.

    doin a little research so far and im diggin the 59 neck, but i may go with a custom bridge. that would be a sexy ass combo my friends! thoughts?
    i like the jb but the the custom seems a little brighter when dirty to me in listening to tone tests on SDs website. the cleans sounds pretty similar though.
    about 160$ for the set and i got laid off 2 weeks ago so we'll see when the time comes lol

    Sounds a good choice. What sounds do your favourite recording artists make? It is easy to get sucked into listening to pickups and then find you can't recreate some of your favourite sounds. It shouldn't be a problem with your choice though.

    well in the genre of music i play with the guitar i dont listen to alot of stuff, i like stevie rai vaughen but is guitar is a little to twangy for me ya know? i like george thorogood alot, and jimi hendrix i guess,

    Sounds like your tank is water logged.that's about the extent of my knowledge on pumps. But I don't think its your pump. It would be advisable to call Plumber, before you burn your pump up.
