Ok, cleaned off the dimarzio tone pots, the dates are '80 and '81, so I think it's reasonable to assume this guitar was made around then.

Your red is not my red, Your red is not my red.
How much are you asking???
Certainly. I put the original pickups back in yesterday. I took a few other photos.
I'm wondering now if this was a stolen guitar when I bought it. That would explain the gouged-out serial numbers, I guess. It'd be cool to find the original owner.
A long time ago, a friend of mine had a tele with a Schecter body that looked similar to mine. I don't know what happened to it.
That's twice my budget...![]()

Just credit peepo, I guess.
The white pickups are SD Little '59s.
The purple ones are SD Hot Stacks, I think. Hard to find anything about these pickups. Stacked humbuckers with a bar pole piece. Those are the originals, and I put them back in.
The switch is a CRL, not Carling. Didn't know much about them. I guess the 5-way has been around since '77, that's when Fender started putting them in Strats, apparently.
I have one of the original knobs, which were top-hat like a Gibson. This guitar has been through a lot. I broke at LEAST 10 vibrato bars. They were all cheap pot-metal type.
