It's been one of those days...

I had absolutely nothing to do today, so I was able to just chill in my room, watch 24 on Netflix, and noodle on my guitar literally almost all day.

It ended up being one of those epiphany days where it just seems like you're suddenly better at something. I feel like my alternate picking and wrist action are much tighter and more precise, and my timing for fast picking has improved.

I wish I could sit down and play like that every day. I'd probably be way better than I am now.

I'm not the only one who has days like this, am I?

This kind of happened the other day for me. I came back from the gym and I had a need to play. So I grabbed my Demon-7 FR and wrote a song in under 10 minuets. It seemed like everything I was doing fell right into place and I was able to record it in the first take (which is rare). Did you feel inspired at all???????

Definitely did. I had been feeling like I hit a wall for a while because I didn't feel like I was improving. Today changed that. I'm all excited to play more

I dunno. Right now I'm leaning towards a blueburst C-1 with Blackouts, but I'm not sure. There's gonna be an avenger later this year, and there might be new finishes. I also haven't had the chance to play anything with Full Shreds, so I don't know which pickup I like more.

I do know that I don't want an FR and I don't want a Sustainiac, as cool as they are.

I hate to say this but I think the Sustaniac may be a fad. It's cool Syn uses them but do we want everybody to use them? I was also contemplating getting a SLS. I like the Blueburst Solo-6 FR. I would like to play both Full Shreds and Blackouts. I've never played a guitar with the Full Shreds and My Demon-7 FR has Duncan Designed Blackouts on them and I know I like those. I would definitely have to play both guitars to determine which one I would get.

I get that. I also have days that are the exact opposite, where it feels like my playing is loose, sloppy and not up to par, and there is nothing I can do about it.
