Same here .. no pedals at all. The Line 6 presets have EVERYTHING ! Spending money on lessons and strings.
I really like the JM4. It is very easy to use, you get a good range of sounds out of it and it is very well built. It has lots of pre-set drums and tunes to jam along to. Since the novelty wore off I tend to just use the drum patches.
JM4's have been around for a while and the design is starting to show its age in that it only holds about 12-14 of my own recordings in the internal memory before I have to transfer them to the SD card-which is no big deal (I could delete some of the other stuff to make more space if it bugged me). Also it is worth mentioning that there no USB connection or pedal.
On the plus side it does everything I want, it has a mic input and the pre-recorded patches are excellent.
It is a great tool for writing your own stuff. Select a beat....lay down the backing and loop...layer on vocals or lead as many times as you like. There are loads of modelling/sound options to play with. I wouldn't be without it and use it all the time. I tend to use it to alter the guitar sound rather than the amp.

My Schecter is the Omen Extrem 7. Not the best out there but much better than the entry level guitars. I could use better pick-ups but the stock ones are pretty good for stock pick-ups.
They rotate in and out...but...
