If you can, take it to an appraiser or guitar maker. A good place to do research is simply on eBay. Check for similar guitars, how much the seller is asking, and how much the buyer is actually paying. Instruments, like houses, cars, etc. are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them these days.

Thats why its always wise to look through that "completed" items, rather than those for sale when getting an idea of prices.
