    i use some tabs to get the basics or all by ear, i dont learn solos yet, i just started taking lessons like 1 month ago lol. its helping alot i just take like 1 lesson every other week cause im working part time and doing school too

    There is no replacement for practicing fundamentals and scales in order to progress. Then you can write your own original stuff too!
